Property in Gambia is readily available and the weather makes it a better choice than the canaries. Flights are from
£400 and will come down even more as the tourist numbers increase. I have been looking at property there for a few months
and whilst on holiday looked at several of the building companies available. Here's my views on the properties
Building plots are available from £5000 up. The major problem is checking who legally owns the land. It is common for
land to be passed down to children, this means a plot can have more than one owner. This can get messy and the legal dealings
are slow.
